Mils and Debra have put together a great website with all of the information about this international fundraiser at Bento4Japan. Thanks to Chantale for her efforts with graphics and to everyone who sells or bids in this auction!
In this bento: yakisoba made with broccoli, carrots, green garlic from the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market, cabbage, and chicken. Also in this bento: steamed edamame, a tangerine from Schletewitz Family Fruit Stand, and a few slices of pepper jack cheese.
We bought a ginormous block of pepper jack cheese, so I am guessing it will be featured in many bentos for the next month or so. :) This bento is also featured in Shannon's What's For Lunch Wednesdays blog. See what other bento makers are up to on Shannon's site!
Yay!!! Love the bento and I love your ebay package :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! I hope to post at least one more item to the auction.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, soba noodles. :) I don't think that I have anything to donate, but I am making a contribution to the red cross and keep checking the auction to see if there is anything I want to bid on. :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you Michele! I made my $10 donation to Red Cross, and I hope this Bento4Japan auction can really help out.
ReplyDeleteI think this is so great what you all are doing! I made my $10 donation, now I am off to check out the fundraiser.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lyndsey! Spread the word, and please add something if you would like.
ReplyDeleteSo excited with how well the auction is doing! Love your box and belt set! I'm planning to add more items too. Let's keep the donations coming :)
ReplyDeleteyum yakisoba..and very nice idea of Bento4Japan. I'll check it out
ReplyDeleteI love your ebay package too! I could eat this yummy bento for lunch today, I am so in a noodle mode. lol. Also, a slight clarification: I did not put together the wonderful bento4japan site! It was Mils who started it all with Debra and Crystal helping out with it's layout. I only played small part with logo and badges. : ) But thank you for shouting this website to everyone on your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks sheri! I have another set of items to post on eBay today, and I hope I win one of Pikko's bento boxes. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Yenny! I put a bit of miso in the soba dressing, yum!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chantale! I knew you did something to help put the site together. I'll edit my post to reflect that. Every bit helps, this is really a group effort!!
